He healed about 100 HP before he got hit so what I think happened was that he popped frenzied rejuvenation since that is in his force bar before he clipped that part in so Tyr hit him while the force power was active so I guess it was broken or something causing him to heal that much so fast.

This would be a Shepard question. I feel like he would be willing to let you have it back since it was obvious you were trying to sacrifice a green common. But also make sure that as soon as you hit level 1 you grab a saber form as to not abuse the extremely high tick rate of the default form.
