I was someone who absolutely disliked the idea of adding troopers into the server. I did not want it to turn into a Star Wars Universe server. But I finally gave into the idea, and we added basic troopers.

They did their job of offering players a little bit of a break from Force Users. And we even saw some new players actually maining a trooper life. And it hardly effected the Force User Playerbase at all. Now, they're fully flushed out classes that have a good amount of players using them as their main life, but still a ton of force users. Sure they get annoying at times, but I've also never been killed in a 1v1 by a trooper. I don't really see a problem fighting them. When it's a 1v12, of course they're gonna dick on you. It's what they're supposed to do.

Anyway, -5 from me. Good part of the server, just need more tweaking if anything.

-1 I am one of the IT commanders, and I think that the thought of removing the troopers is a terrible idea. we have had more people on trooper lives than ever. To take that away would kill a large percentage of the user base. There are plenty of people who main life troopers as well as a 2nd life for when they want to get away form force lives. But that is what you should be more concerned about. making Jedi and Sith lives more appealing so people don't flock to troopers just to have fun. But you also can't get mad at the troopers for making sure they have an advantage in a fight that 1 on 1 they would lose. The same thing all Force users are doing when they try and make new builds, you are trying to win. Force Lighting is more annoying than blaster shots, at least you can deflect blaster fire. In short Troopers are just trying to play to win just like everyone else, but we have group up or we would lose every time, making the Job unplayable and useless.
